Alphaban Super ME (HSE 7689)

Contains 5.30% w/w Alpha-cypermethrin and 20.0% w/w Piperonyl butoxide

For the general control of Red-Mite and general crawling insects.

Alphaban Super ME is a Micro-emulsion product and a 'must use' anywhere that pyrethroid tolerance is suspected, as it contains high levels of the synergist piperonyl butoxide.  This interferes with, and selectively blocks the insect's enzyme defense system, which can diminish the normal killing effects of pyrethroids.

Formulated as solvent free, Alphaban Super ME produces super-fine insecticide droplets when diluted with water, which enhances take-up by the target insects.  It is best suited for use on non-porous surfaces.

Whilst this product is suitable for use against a wide variety of crawling insects, it has been particularly formulated for the control of Red-Mite in poultry houses where the mite populations have shown to be difficult to control using some pyrethroid products.

Applied by a standard compression sprayer.

Standard dilution rate of  50 ml / 5 litres
